Six Modes of Kickboxing
Whether you're stepping into a gym for the first time or preparing for national competition, our range of disciplines has a home for you. Every mode builds different skills — and every fighter's journey is unique.
01
Beginner → Intermediate
Semi Contact
The referee stops the bout each time a point is scored and restarts the action. Develops speed, precision and technique. Only clean, controlled techniques count — no excessive power. Ideal for newcomers building their technical foundation.
02
Intermediate
Light Contact
Continuous action, limited power. Two or three side judges score throughout the fight. Teaches the fighter to flow, adapt and string combinations together under real pressure — the perfect bridge to full ring sport.
03
Intermediate+
Kick Light
Similar to Light Contact with one key addition: fighters may target the inner and outer thigh above the knee. Expands the tactical toolkit and prepares athletes for low-kick formats.
04
Advanced
Full Contact
Maximum power, all kicks above the belt. Fought in a boxing ring, judged by three side officials. Fighter safety is paramount — bouts are stopped if a competitor can no longer defend themselves effectively.
05
Advanced
Low Kick
Full Contact rules extended to include leg kicks targeting the thighs. Demands superior leg conditioning and tactical adaptability — a staple format on the international stage.
06
Elite
K1 Rules
The pinnacle of stand-up striking: leg kicks, knee strikes, spinning backfists and a 5-second clinch with mandatory knee use. Demands elite conditioning, all-round technique and strategic mastery.
